1st Constitutional Convention

The 1st Constitutional Convention for New California State was held on July 21, 2018 at Harris Ranch, CA.  There were over 155 Delegates from 42 New California State Counties who attended the first convention. The Convention saw the formation of the New California Legislature with the establishment of an Assembly and a Senate. Next came the first legislative sessions for the two bodies.  The Agenda for each body was to establish leadership and basic operational rules.  Next came the passage of three resolutions by each body and a joint session of both the Assembly and Senate to affirm each resolution.  The passage of the three joint resolutions gave to New California the first two elements of the Constitution: The Acceptance of the January 15, 2018 Declaration of Independence for New California State and the Preamble to the Constitution. New California State was born.
